Anodising
Decorative and Protective!
Often referred to as natural, clear or silver anodising, this is the most common type of anodic oxidation, and the description covers a wide range of processes at different levels.
It differs from a Hard process in that the electrolyte temperature is higher and the current density employed is lower as a result creates a lower oxide layer build up. The types of processes are sub-divided into classes determined by the field of application.
All anodised processes are sealed unless the film is used as a primer for paint or adhesives.
PPC offer services including: Hard Anodising, Anodic Dying, Chemical Brightening, Glass Bead Vapour Honing and PTFE.
