"Dear Mike,

Please can you pass on my personal thanks to Ross, Jim and the team for the extraordinary service they provided us Friday afternoon.

At 3.45pm we received a call from a desperate customer faced with what looked like an unachievable challenge to build product at the weekend.

To achieve the target we established we had six items to complete in house and one item, some Baseplates that were with yourselves, that still required masking and black anodising.

Ross informed me the tanks had been turned off and the guys were preparing to go home.

However, after some discussion, Ross managed to rally his team to commit to stay, to turn the tanks back on and complete the task.

In the meantime, I also managed to negotiate with my guys to stay on to finish the in house tasks.

To the delight of our customer he collected the Baseplates from yourselves at 6.30pm Friday evening and the balance of the parts from PCML at 7.00am Saturday morning

This endeavour will ultimate benefit both our respective companies moving forward and shows how true partners can meet unrealistic targets by working closely together.

Over the years we have thrown all sorts of technical and delivery challenges at you and your company and the response has always been exemplary.
